Data Deletion Request

This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with you and the apps published by Dope Capybara (our developer name on Google Play) and our website at dopecapybara.com.
We are an indie studio built around data minimization. Our apps do not require an account or sign-up, and most data never leaves your device. Because of that, the fastest way to delete app data is often to uninstall the app — but you can always ask us to delete anything we hold, using the steps below.
How to request deletion
- Email playdopecapybara@gmail.com from any address.
- Use the subject line “Delete my data”.
- Tell us which app or service this concerns (for example the app name as shown on its Google Play listing), and the email address or contact-form message you used, if any.
We confirm every request and complete the deletion within 30 days. You do not need to reinstall any app to submit a request — this web page and the email address above are enough.

What data is kept, and for how long
Some signals are anonymous and not linked to your identity, so they cannot be tied back to you to delete individually. We retain them only in aggregate:
- Anonymous crash reports (device model, OS version, anonymized installation ID, stack trace) — kept up to 90 days to fix bugs, then discarded.
- Anonymous, aggregated usage analytics (feature usage, screen views) — no personal identifiers; retained only as aggregates.
- Anonymous website analytics (Vercel Analytics) — aggregated, cookieless, retained per Vercel’s default policy.
We may also retain records strictly required for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes for as long as the law requires; in practice we hold almost nothing in this category.
